Quick Facts about Rubies

Posted by Daily Jewelry On March - 12 - 2012

A lot of people are in the dark when it comes to rubies. You might be surprised to know that rubies are quiye hard, measuring a 9 on the Mohs’ scale, coming in a close second to diamonds, which register as a 10. Rubies are often found in the following countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Madagascar, Kenya, Afghanistan, United States, Burma and Sri Lanka.
